I filed a complaint with the BBB on Friday 1/29/2021. HSN got it on Monday and asked for the tracking numbers of the returns.
I supplied them, they responded tonight and are refunding the item costs back to the credit card used. As a consumer, I use every avenue at my disposal to make retailers or companies to be held accountable.
Whethor it is the BBB, State Attorney Generals Office, a government watchdog agency, etc.....You have to be willing to put in the work if it affects your hard earned money, a warranty, etc...!!!!! As a consumer, you have many options available to you; use them.

I returned some items for my daughter that she got for me for Christmas. Those items had the extra holiday return policy through 1/31/2021 on them.
HSN has had them at their return facility since 1/18/2021. They were very expensive electronics - about $1500.00 worth. Still have not had a confirmation from HSN about them having them, so also a significant delay in processing any refund. I have the receipts from UPS (I learned a long time ago to always get a receipt for returning items to anyone - companies really hate to refund stuff for some reason); as well as the PODs (Proof Of Delivery).
These particular items were defective as well.
It is just a shame that these companies want to push the envelope when a consumer returns something. They are very eager to take your money though.
User's recommendation: Get receipts for returns always.
Monetary Loss: $1500.
