HSN=FRAUD!!!!!!

My order cancelled several times. Several Supervisors gave me several different reasons WHY....they all claimed to fix the problem and still my order gets cancelled even though my $$$ is being held hostage. Total fraud imo - don't bother with these crooks. They couldn't honor their tv ad so apparently making it difficult to purchase the item. Nobody has a clue either at HSN of what is going on. They never notified me after the first time my order cancelled. I was waiting and waiting for my tv (it was a gift I purchased for my two sons)and it never arrived. Finally I called HSN and they said Oh that order was cancelled but they could not tell me why. I spoke with several supervisors several times and they all gave me a different excuse. They then said they would resubmit the order and correct the problem but never did. Waste of 3 weeks and hours on the phone and at the bank trying to get my money released back to me. Stick with QVC....never had a problem with them...ever.

I ordered some tools from them 10 yeasr ago, everything was as it was advertised.

Back then, i do not rec all all of the false hype and drama that spews out from the hosts today.

I watch a few minutes for entertainment.

I was watching a presentation this morning of a grossly overpriced metal box that hangs on the wall and burns expensive gell. The host stated "I have one of these in my home and love it." Later, the same host stated, "I need to order one of these before they get gone."

They suck gullible people in by claiming "limited quantities", "almost sold out", blah, blah, blah.

I may have discovered a sales person lower than a car saleman?

Crapy Crapy Crapy Business

On Aug. 20,2010 I called in to purchase a laptop computer. I was told it would arrive on Sept. 1 well it did not come. I called and they said my order was never placed and that computer is sold-out now. I was told that they could give me a $50 credit on my account for 30 days only (woopy do!) and for me to watch HSN and try it again when I seen it advertised next time. They said they would call me in the next couple of weeks if they seen the computer arrive again but that was the best they could do for me. Do they really think I would try again? I might be some dumb but I am not plum dumb! Crapy Service Do Not Buy From HSN Please

I adore acer...got one from walmart...purchased the plan and the hard drive went out..to be fair..it was a small, and I took it everywhere including reading forums in the bathtub, when I did dishes, laundry..outside etc etc ..it lasted 3 years...acer was amazing and unfortunately they did not make the Acer one notebook anymore, so I had to get money back instead of replaced and then at that point walmart did not have acer products left.

But I would buy another acer in a heartbeat

HSN & Todd English

Todd English "non-stick" pans are garbage, garbage, garbage!! the worst $170.00 I've spent in my life--my $9 Sears pan has held up for over a year-the T. English pans only 6 weeks old started to deterioate--the copper exterior is peeling, impossible to clean, the handles capture water and start to splatter when placed on hot element and I've even been burned. Everything sticks in the interior--with or without grease. Do not buy it!! Todd English and hsn should be embarrassed and held accountable. Todd English is either naive or an opportunist. Doesn't he have enough money already?? I will never visit any of T.English's restaurants because his credibility has been compromised neither will I ever shop hsn again.

Hsn shopping network

I recently received a letter for home shopping network informing me. that because 1 have returned to many items they will no longer allow me to buy from them, if i continue this practice. yes i returned only items I, mever used, they eaither did not fit or did not work the the way it was adverised on the show. all the items i returned within days after receipt before the 30 days limit. I was not aware that this would be a problem. I took them at their, word, which said you can return any item for any reason within 30 days. I have always paid for anything I ordered.

I just received confirmation on an order I never placed. Someone was able to have the $117.00 order placed on my account number but sent to their address.

Had I not checked my email tonight I would not have known until it was too late. I called HSN. I got a very snotty "supervisor" who said she could cancel the order but could/would not share with me how this could happen.

JUST THAT IT WAS A MISTAKE. Beware!!

HSN does not care about doing the right thing, and steals money from its consumers.

2 big issues in the last 2 years. 1) purchased an elliptical machine-does not work, totally defective, fell on me, and they will not take it back and will not refund me and the only thing they have to say is that it is past the 30 day limit of returns. I even talked to the manufacturer and they cannot fix it or help me. I amout 534 dollars there. 2) HSN has record keeping issues. 2 orders in early 2009 sent to unrelated address and when I had them fix their records to have my address updated, they said they did. Funny thing is that previous orders went to the right address. Same thing happened in December. Ordered 9 items in december for late xmas gifts and never recd them 383 bucks out. Called in and they admitted again to sending to wrong address. They finally agreed to FULLY refunded me the purchase in Jan 2010 because they admitted that they made an error (esp given their history of errors on my account) and you cannot pay for something that you never receive, right? So I recd 383 bucks back. They also told me that if I wanted the merchandise, I had to re-order. I did, and recd the merchandise. Now I have fully paid for the items I re-orderd in Jan of 2010 but 6mos later, I come to find that in May they decided to rescind their credit for the Dec 20 order without telling me. I had to find out through my HSN card because I noticed my account was much higher than I had records of. So in no way did they intend to contact me or attempt to notify me on the phone or email to let me know that they were basically putting me out another bunch of money. The kicker here is that they only re-charged me for 8 of the 9 items because one is sold out. So if these were all sold out they would not have re-charged me? I called in and spoke to about 20 people (no joke) and each time could not receive any help. I was so frustrated that I was crying and shaking b/c these people did not care anything about the mistake they made. I am currently disputing with the WFCB HSN Credit Card Services team. NEVER PURCHASE FROM HSN AGAIN-HORRIBLE people run this company and do not care about their customers at all. They are sneaky and devious and will steal your money if you don't watch out.

I agree! My home was blocked because of a tenant and an easy pay order they didn't pay.

Even though I had account prior to the tenant and in good standing. The policy is ridiculous and punishes people for the acts of others...I moved on...

Home Shopping network does not deliver on the goods, stuff always missing from orders.

I have order a very expensive sewing machine and a YouDo machine both were delivered twice with missing or stolen parts. They really have a problem with people who work for them taken stuff from the boxes. Its a huge problem. The ups delivers all boxes unopened so we know the stealing is happening at the Home Shopping Package plant. They can only resolve by taking the item back and sending another or getting your money back. We continue to have the YOUDo machine re shipped and to date missing parts are still a problem. I will not order from this company again no matter what the deal is until they deal with the stealing at the plant.

HSN is Not Trustworthy

Their freight carrier (Old Dominion Freight Line Incorporated) refused to carry a 200 lb treadmill into my home when they called to schedule a delivery per the agreement w/ HSN, said they would dump it on my driveway. HSN had promised it would be carried into my home. I told them to ship it back to HSN. I would buy from BEST BUY...better customer servicer w/ delivery. Old Dominion then lied to HSN and said they delivered it to my home the next day. I had already told HSN that I had refused the item and why. I don't have the item and they have nothing with my signature on it, so my bank charged the item back to HSN. I even called the Local Police Dept. to Report This Incident. HSN should not do business w/ these people nor should anyone else! HSN said they would investigate the incident, did not seem to be in a hurry to get my money back to me and it has been two weeks. They told me that my signature must be on the paperwork...but I can assure them no one ever delivered anything to me. They could not produce anything with my signature of course but held up getting my money back to me. Damage Resulting = $727.55 still waiting to see it back. I will never do business with either company.

I meant the cops would have to be sitting there to watch the thief cart it off themselves. .the laws are backwards..I know from around my area, even if cameras catch a person stealing from a personal resident they still , might not get charges pressed these days

I work for Old Dominion. Drivers are not allowed inside private residences...this is for your safety as well as theirs.

People should realize that a driver should not be expected to move something so big and heavy alone Take responsibility for ordering and get some help to get it inside.

I've arranged thousands of deliveries just like this. People need to not expect a delivery driver to do more than deliver it.

HSN is totally down the hill. I've been with them since 1991, but in the last four years they totally morphed into a biz that i don't trust anymore.

They still have wonderful products (i.e. Nicky Buttler) and incredible hosts (like beautiful Colleen Lopez) but the way they do bizness in no longer acceptable. Their carrier UPS is very unreliable, and if the item was never delivered, HSN makes it YOUR fault, they only tell that they investigate, but they dont. Instead, they continue to bill you whilst they just aplogized to you on the phone, etc.

I occasionally buy some of (very few now) good stuff, but in the course of last years I switched to QVC.

Shame on HSN, they used to be good... we know what will happen to them next, it's only a matter of time, if they do not CHANGE their practices, they will lose.

I don't know about that delivery company, but I know HSN are shysters of the first magnitude. I refuse to deal with them anymore and I used to be a good customer. They've gone downhill very badly in the last year.

Fight them tooth and nail and please report back on your progress.

HSN Is Not an Honest Retailer

HSN claims to want customers' honest opinions about their products, yet if you do give an honest opinion about a product, and in particular, Green Pans, they will delete all references to the bad review or forum posts about the product. Another thing they do is when a product is rated poorly, they change the item number and poof go the negative reviews. This does not go unnoticed by consumers who post on their message boards, yet when the practice is questioned, the posts are removed. This is dishonest at worst and deceptive at best. Caveat Emptor with this company. Just because something is not rated or a "customer pick" it may not be a true evaluation

I tried to post a comment regarding a green pan after having trouble with all the pans I had purchased. When I tried to post, it wouldn't let me because I hadn't purchased the item within 6 months.

Green pans are supposedly guaranteed for life; the return process to the manufacturer is a pain and I think potential customer should know, but you can't post when they change the item number or if you wait too long to give feedback. BS

Stay away from HSN

It's been years since I ordered anything from HSN but I updated my info and ordered a dress. The dress did not arrive. I contacted HSN who insisted it was delivered. I contacted UPS and found it was delivered to my old address. Some glitch in their system updated the phone number but not the address. HSN refunded my money. 3 weeks later, HSN then sent me a letter asking me to find the package and return it. When I called customer service, they insisted that their "Accounting" department insisted I either retrieve the package and return it, or pay for it. They then recharged my credit card for the item. The item was $20 so I am simply never going to shop there again. But what if this was $200? No wonder I stopped shopping with these people!

I mailed my payment in FULL via my bank online-I even wrote on the memo of the check due on 1/9 arrive 1/7 to verify to myself that I was sending it to arrive in time..well low and behold this month statement-a $29 late fee -the hsn credit card claims they didn't get it until 1/13 (a day after it was due)--excuse me I mailed it from my bank on 12/30. I am furious..I have a perfect credit rating UNTIL now..hsn is a joke-at least qvc does not treat their customers this way.my bank is investing this issue and I may contact an attorney if need be to stop this from happening again.

Labeled package.

My concern is now you are labeling your boxes for marketing purposes hsn.com but you are forgetting why you are in this business. It is plus to order online for several reasons. Mine is convenience. I am at work and my package is waiting on the porch for any one to pick it up. Packages are left all time in our area this is not the problem. The problem is now your company decides to let everyone know that a new item is in the box from HSN. Can I order with a nonlabeled box. And why must I have to write at least 100 words in order to send this. This is ***.

Boycott HSN

I had a problem with an item I bought from them, I returned it and they didn't want to give me my money back. So I filed disputes with the credit card company, and they stated if I did that, I wouldn't be able to order from them anymore. That is obviously true (I had heard other stories about this but they weren't confirmed); they must flag the address - my daughter has an account with them and tried to order from them and they refused to place the order to ship to our address! So sad that they have to be so petty about a consumer that's only protecting their rights under the law. And especially in this economy. If only the manufacturers they sell for knew of these practices - wonder what would happen then. We should all boycott HSN!

HSN Complaints - Acer Netbook

I purchased an Acer Netbook, it turned out to be defective. I returned thru the USPS and HSN claims they never received it. Now fighting with them for my refund. Have filed several complaints from the BBB, Atty Gen Offices (FL, CA, TX), and with the USPS (postal inspector - mail theft). When I told HSN I was also disputing chrages with credit card company - they stated if I did so, I would not be allowed to shop with them anymore -how ridiculous is that statement? I also filed a complaint with Acer, as I feel that HSN's policy severely reflects on the brands they advertise and sell on their network.

The employees are actually barred from writing any reviews unless they have purchased the product themselves - and HSn has no way of finding out that the employees are the ones that wrote it. I AM an employee, and have written more than a dozen bad reviews AND good reviews.

While I admit that some of our products are not good (Acer & Gateway being at the top of the list), we do try to do what we can. And yes, the credit card does suck.

I purchased a set of pots from HSN -ULTRA something or other - they are supposed to have a livetime warranty...the pots are falling apart and when I contacted HSN they told me they do not deal with the manufacturer anymore so it's my problem. What about standing behind what you sell??

And all those positive feed backs about HSN are sent in by employees. This is a *** outfit that sells low quality merchandise.

I just found out the hard way. Hopefully everyone will listen and they will either clean up their act or go out of business.

I bought 10 of those Acer's and have not had any problems, I have been purchasing from HSN for 5 years and I have never had any problems,I have also returned items and received a full refund. I think one of the problems people have is that they do not listen to the entire program on tv or read the information online before they buy items.

Always look for reviews before you buy anything. Also when returning items always get a tracking number from UPS and pay the extra for insurance if the product is a computer or tv.

Always call customer service supervisor and have them set up a return. Follow my advise and you will not have any problems

I ordered a laptop from HSN and they said, at the time, they had thousands...well, now they are saying I might not get it as they can't get enough from their distributor. The HSN should be legally barred from advertising products they don't have ready to ship. It's fraud to advertise what they don't have....

I was also screwed over by HSN. I bought a GPS and returned it with two day delivery through USPS with the pre-printed label they included in the package.

They claim they never got my return either. They also like to misrepresent products on air, that turn out to not really have the features they say they do. I had also bought a lexmark printer through them that *** out 6 months later.

HSN is a joke! I am also contacting the BBB
